Don't laugh now..I know typical girl obsessing over her hair moment..but it's happening! so don't let me decide on my own please

I'm being threatened with a kick in the behind if I don't get it done(by my aunt lol )..but yeah I'm scared..I haven't had a real haircut in years..(almost 6 to be exact) when I was 13 I gave myself a haircut and refused to get even a trim for 3 whole years, and in these past 3 years I've probably only had 3 tiny trims ('cept for this summer in which my crazy new grandma decided to chop off 4 inches..and I cried like a big baby.........) So yeah I want it..because I think I might need a change and the fact that I think I hide behind my hair...I've gotten so use to it being around its sort of my security blanket if that makes sense..but just as much as I want it I don't because well even though I know it will grow back that won't happen in 2 minutes. And I have made up my mind that if I do cut my hair I wont just cut off like 6 inches..I'll do something much more dramatic like maybe 12-15inches...and that's a big step..

Basically I don't know what to do..my family thinks it would be best for me if I did. So yeah..any thoughts?

And to help <---is a really old picture from like a couple years back but I don't have anything more recent that clearly shows how long my hair is and I'm too lazy to take a new one

A friend of mines cousin just got a video released on MuchMusic and I think that is amazing the guys cute, can sing, and hes from BC like meeeeeeee lol sometimes one forgets that these singers/celebs could very well have once been your neighbors..(well I do anyways...)

Soooo onto more important things..*SublimeBudd fav'ed my It's Time picture() into his Newest Beauty collection, and I just thought that was awesome! 'cus like the whole point of it is to promote/support new deviations instead of the already popular ones! He submitted a news post on it a while back which I think was a lovely idea I am mentioning this because well I like the idea..and don't get me wrong, I'm sure many of you already do this but I figured I ought to remind you!
